2. What we collect

Orders: name, email, phone number with country code, billing address and delivery address (street, city, postal code, country) or the chosen pickup point, order contents and amount. We process this data to handle your order, ship the parcel and issue the invoice.

Newsletter: email address and language.

Contact form and custom requests: name, email, message and an optional reference photo.

We do not profile you and we process no special categories of data.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Fulfilling and delivering your order — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Accounting and tax records — compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Newsletter — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

Replying to a contact-form message — legitimate interest in communicating with enquirers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Retention

Orders and related records: 10 years from issuing the document, as required by accounting and tax law.

Newsletter: until you withdraw consent, after which the address is deleted without delay.

Contact-form messages: no more than 2 years after the last exchange.

5. Third parties

Stripe — card payment processing.

Packeta — parcel delivery (name, address or pickup point, phone, email).

The email and hosting provider of this website — technical operation.

Our accountant, and competent authorities where legally required. We never sell your data or use it for advertising tracking.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Send your request to info@melgraceramics.com — we reply within one month.

If you believe processing is unlawful you may lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava).
