MelGra Ceramics is a small studio in Slovakia, run by Denisza. It began with one wheel, one kiln and a great deal of patience.

Every mug is thrown on the wheel; the birds and owls are modelled one by one from porcelain and painted by hand. Nothing is pressed or copied.

The glazes are mixed in the studio — which is why the drips, gradients and fine crackles never come out the same twice. The clay dries, is fired, glazed and fired again; the whole process takes weeks.
